Summit Aviation has named Victor Kriger chief financial officer. Kriger joined the company July 27 and will oversee Summit Aviation’s financial strategy, planning, reporting and decision support.

Kriger’s appointment is part of a planned leadership transition ahead of the retirement of Joyce Price Morales, who has served Summit Aviation for more than 39 years. Kriger and Morales will work together over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Summit Aviation thanks Morales for her many years of service and wishes her well in retirement.

Kriger has more than 17 years of experience leading financial strategy, planning and decision support across the aerospace, pharmaceutical and biologics industries. He began his career in aerospace and spent more than 13 years supporting multiple programs within Boeing’s Vertical Lift division in Philadelphia.

Before joining Summit Aviation, Kriger served as finance director for a $100 million operating company at W.L. Gore & Associates. In that role, he supported strategy execution, mergers and acquisition integration, financial oversight, reporting, and drove initiatives to improve business execution and profitability.

Kriger earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University.
