Summit Aviation has the experience, tooling and parts required to perform complex maintenance and modification services on Sikorsky UH-60 and S-70 Black Hawk aircraft. We're equipped with not only a secure facility, but Army trained UH60 technicians as well. We offer periodic maintenance, paint, modifications, flight testing and much more.
Summit has experience performing maintenance and modifications on Sikorsky UH-60 and S-70 Black Hawk aircraft under proprietary government programs. At its secure manufacturing and assembly facility in North Carolina, Summit manufactures UH-60 aircraft parts for Sikorsky, and also manufactures parts for Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin.
All of Summit’s employees are trained within the AS9100D quality system standards for continual improvement and On-The-Job training. Summit uses the most up to date technical publications for aircraft maintenance and has a quality department responsible for tracking updates to ensure publications are current and accessible to all employees.
Summit’s avionics and sheet metal shops are capable of performing all component testing and repair functions. Summit possesses a Universal Blade Static Balancer (USBF) and the main rotor blade HEAT-MAT Test set to support testing, repairs, painting, and full balance checks of UH-60 main rotor blades.
