Summit Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced recently that it has promoted Ben Morgan to the position of Assistant Program Manager and Business Development Representative for PM Cargo and Fleet Support.
Mr. Morgan has been climbing the ladder at Summit since he joined the team in 2006 as a part-time fixed-wing mechanic. In 2007 he transitioned to government work as a CH47D & MH47E induction mechanic; as such he inducted more than 100 aircraft in three years.
Continuing to take on increased responsibilities; in 2010 he was promoted to lead various modifications programs and in 2014 he became program coordinator. As such, he managed, mentored and assisted other team leads as well as became familiar with the administrative side of Summit’s business.
In his current role as assistant program manager, Mr. Morgan manages PM Cargo and fleet support in addition to managing commercial customers. Additionally, he has pursued his education inevitably becoming a certified earned value management analyst, a certified AS9100 and AS9110 internal auditor and a certified project management professional.
In his business development role, he is focused on discovering new and diverse opportunities for Summit.
